String Quartet

A string quartet is a very popular choice for your wedding or other event because the ensemble is so versatile. 

During the ceremony the quartet can play as the guests arrive, as the bride arrives, during the signing of the register or even accompany hymns and songs.

Here at Sounds Ideal we have a resident quartet who were formed from the most talented graduates from Cardiff University's School of Music.

As well as being extremeley talented individual musicians their long experience of playing together has made them into a formidable quartet.

For most string quartet bookings it will be these musicians that will perform. As our residents, the quartet perform and record as representatives of Sounds Ideal and all the recordings on this page were made by them.
